and thrill-seekers are going to get a thrill climbing this. It is located in Groningen in the northern Netherlands
and can't be missed.
~ Carrie from California suggests the food blog, Orangette. It is about the author, Molly Wizenberg and her
life around all things food. It's addictive! One of those blogs that you just can't stop reading.
~ Chris from Washington, USA loves Jasper Hill Farm's Bayley Hazen Blue cheese. It is a natural rinded blue
cheese made with whole raw milk. The farm is located in Vermont and produces some of the most amazing
cheeses found anywhere and you can purchase
Jasper Hill Farm cheese online.
~ Teri from Alberta, Canada just has to order the Hushpuppies (a Southern staple) at Schiro’s Café in New

and New Orleans food at it's community bar and cafe - this is a totally unique and local experience.
~ Ellese from New York suggests that winos visiting York County in Pennsylvannia, USA make sure to attend
the upcoming
2011 Wine Just Off The Vine event on November 12 and 13 on the Mason-Dixon Wine Trail.
~ Cyndee from Oregon writes: The family enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights camping on the coast at Carl G.
Washburne State Park, just North of Haceta Head on the Oregon coast. We arrived Wednesday before Labor
Day weekend without reservations and got a wonderful camp site which had electricity and water  (in the RV
section).  Tent sites are walk-in, we decided to be lazy and wanted to drive up as we come with as many
creature comforts the family van can hold including kids and dog! The campground did fill up by Friday.

Our site was backed up to a creek and the campground has an easy 1/2 mile path thru a hobbit like forest to
the beach - easy to walk or bike.  Lots of moss, large mushrooms, lush and green.  You almost expected to see
little gnomes (hobbits) dancing around.  The beach was pristine, uncrowded and we could hear the waves from
our tent!  We rode our bikes on the beach, beach combed and explored the forest.

Hot showers were welcome by day 2, very clean restrooms, abundant firewood easy to gather nearby.  Kids
said, "we want to come back next year!".

We met a couple, also from Bend, who told us they camp there every winter in the yurts and it is wonderful -
hardly anyone else ever there that time of year.  We will try to check it out this winter. A good time was had by
all! Check it out for some really fun camping.

I forgot to mention, we had SUNSHINE everyday until our last day, which was overcast when we woke up.

Here's a travel tip from Jill for her fellow sports-loving Bendites ~  don't pass up the opportunity to take in
home games this season for either the
Oregon Ducks or Oregon State Beavers football by riding in style,
comfort and safety on the Fan Bus!  At right around 50 bucks, catch the bus at one of the designated pick-up
spots and enjoy the ride and revelry over to the game, take in a tailgate party, cheer on your team and then
ride home with peace of mind on these well-equipped buses.  For the Beaver Bus, simply call Journey Coaches
at 541-419-3085 and reserve space on the Oregon Football Fan Bus by going to
