Distinct differences between the Old
Town and new Frankfurt are not only
obvious from the changing skyline, but
also from wandering the city streets
and observing life of the locals.

and a great place to wander and take
in the wonderful architecture.

The national drink that Frankfurt is
famous for is Apfelwein or Ebbelwoi,
known in English as apple wine. Make
sure to do some sampling of this local
speciality, but don't be expecting a
sweet wine - we found it to be a bit on
the sour side. When served hot, this
German form of apple cider, is a good
remedy for a cold or a tasty way to
drink it in cold weather.

bun, place the frankfurter inside and
smother with mustard, or do what the
locals do - dip your frankfurter in the
mustard whilst eating the bun
seperately and wash it all down with

frankfurter is the origin of the
American hotdog, but it is our opinion
