For a great breakfast or lunch the Snow City Cafe is the place to go. Opens daily at 7am, very busy so expect to wait on the weekends. If you're in the mood for an omelette try the Crabby - fluffy three-egg omelet with dungeness crab, Swiss cheese and green onions, topped with fresh avocado slices, served with hashbrowns and toast (enough for 2 unless you're incredibly hungry). 1034 W 4th Avenue. (907) 272 - CITY.
Best thing to order on the menu at Sullivan's Steakhouse is steak, although the Martinis and jazz are great too. The Filet Mignon was to die for. All sides are extra, but order one side dish and there's enough for four people - the onion rings were so large they looked like donuts. Steak isn't the only thing on the menu but the Ahi Tuna Steak was rather disappointing. The Grand Marnier souffle was very good and the service excellent. 320 W 5th Avenue. (907) 258-2882.
