WAVE Journey asked friend and WJ fan, Ronda Furlan, AKA Dive Diva, to write an article for
WJ about her recent dive at Thetis Island. Wave Journey is delighted to share the following

Now, while I am not quite the world travelers that you two are, I do think I have been
around the block a bit in the diving scene. With our recent Thanksgiving trip to Thetis Island
we got to enjoy some of our own home- grown wonders of nature.
Thetis is among the many Gulf Islands lying between Vancouver Island and mainland British
Columbia. It can be reached by ferry from Chemainus on Vancouver Island. In many
respects, the Gulf Islands of BC are the equivalent of the San Juan Islands of Washington
State.
