Cheap Eats in Argentina
Possibly the best bargain in Buenos Aires and Argentina are the restaurants.
You can enjoy a full meal with wine for as little as $4.  It's going to be hard to
spend more than $10 per person at any of the many, really great restaurants.

Good Manners While Visiting Thailand
Women should wear clothing that covers their arms and legs when visiting
temples in Thailand.  If you arrive wearing a t-shirt and shorts, don't be
surprised or offended if you are asked to wear a shawl and sarong to cover
your bare skin.

Recommended by Patty in London, England.

ANOTHER HOLIDAY RECIPE ~ ORANGE FRENCH TOAST
Makes 6 slices

This is a Sunday morning kind of dish and perfect for this time of year.

Recipe courtesy of Mary Marquiss, from her book The Marquiss Kitchen II.
Visit Mary's website to purchase this great recipe book: www.marymarquiss.com

6 slices white bread (use extra-thick slices if you can find them)
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup whole milk or half-n-half
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon grated orange rind (use the side of grater with small holes)
dash salt
4 or more tablespoons butter

Thoroughly mix the eggs, milk, sugar, orange rind and salt.
Place mixture in a flat container that is big enough to hold a slice or two of bread.
Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet (be careful not to burn it).
Lay bread slices in egg mixture, coating both sides well.
Brown both sides of the bread slices in the skillet.
You may need to add more butter to the skillet after frying some of the bread.

Serve with lots of butter and maple syrup.  Really great with some nice, smokey bacon.
