Alicia Harney, a 23 year old teaching graduate, who
after finishing university decided not to try and get a
near non-existent job in teaching during the credit
crunch. Instead, she is using her hard-saved cash to
travel around the world!
Along with her long-term boyfriend, Alicia left the "Big
freeze" in Northern Ireland on New Years Day and has
been travelling in South America for the past 25
weeks. During that time she has been keeping a blog
of her adventures. Their journey is not yet over and
they are still headed to Easter Island, Tahiti and New
Zealand before eventually ending up in Australia and
Singapore.
