taking in the
Safeway Classic LPGA have highlighted the month.  Take a look at some of our
adventures in
pictures.

WAVE Journey's upcoming travel plans include: exploring the Southern Oregon Coast in
September, a Mexican Riviera Cruise in November, driving California Baja in November and
December and a trip to South Africa in the first quarter of 2007.

Four Rosmead Boutique Guest House, South Africa

Situated on the slopes of Table Mountain in the select residential suburb of Oranjezicht, Four
Rosmead enjoys 360º views of the mountain, Lions Head, Signal Hill, Table Bay and the city.
The guest house is within walking distance of the city centre, vibrant Kloof Street, and is 5
minutes by car from the V&A Waterfront, and Clifton and Camps Bay beaches

Built in 1903, Four Rosmead is a classified provincial monument that has been sensitively and
stylishly remodelled. The result is a Cape contemporary classic with a rich history - an ideal
venue for self indulgence and to use as a base to explore Cape Town. Interiors are chic with a
subtle, yet distinctive African spirit.  Landscaped gardens, a pamper spa offering a variety of
massage treatments, and a patio overlooking the pool deck and herb garden all contribute to an
urban sanctuary for guests to relax and unwind.

Accommodation consists of eight bespoke en-suite bedrooms (1 suite, four deluxe and 3 luxury
rooms) which offer extra-length king/twin/queen beds, highest quality linen, air conditioning,
satellite TV, telephone, bar fridge, electronic safe, bath robes, hairdryer, heated towel rails,
under tile heating, coffee and tea facility and Wi-fi internet connectivity.  Selected rooms
feature a DVD player, fireplace, private garden, balcony or courtyard.

Four Rosmead displays carefully selected artwork crafted by local South African artists.  Guests
are able to choose from a variety of works ranging from wire sculptures to oil paintings to
beaded animals.  Most of these pieces are available for purchase as a tangible memory of your
stay at Four Rosmead in Cape Town.

Warm hospitality, a sumptuous breakfast, and discreet and efficient service will contribute to
your sense of well-being.  Services include booking day tours to Cape Point and the Winelands,
airport transfers, and off street parking.  English, French and German are spoken.

website for more information on this wonderful South African boutique guest house.

Previously, removing your shoes for screening at the airport was optional, but that has

Travellers' Tales

Mireya's Oregon Coast RV Adventure

We just spent a month driving up the entire Oregon coast and you're in for a treat! It is
absolutely spectacular!

We highly recommend the Oregon State Park campgrounds. They are right on Hwy 101,
beautiful, spacious, wooded sites with wonderful facilities and gorgeous locations, and
incredibly inexpensive: between $16 & $22 for water, electric, picnic tables, fire rings,
fire wood for sale, and very nice dump stations. The Hot showers are nice & clean and
free.

None of the privately owned campgrounds are anywhere as beautiful and spacious as the
state parks. We love them!
