Where Are We?
Jill says "hello" from Palm Desert, California. She will be back in the desert for a week, hopefully enjoying more sun and warmer temperatures than what we experienced during March and the beginning of April.
Viv is back in British Columbia for a couple of weeks, catching up with friends and family, conducting business and enjoying all the things Beautiful BC has to offer. Back in the early 90's, Viv lived in the West End of downtown Vancouver for a few years while working as a manager at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Vancouver was, and still is a great place to live. Always giving tourists and those lucky enough to live there the feeling of being totally safe in a beautiful and exciting city.

Featured Destination
A visit to Vancouver will be one to remember. It is one of the world's most diverse, beautiful and exciting cities.
Take a stroll, rollerblade or ride a bike around Stanley Park, visit the Vancouver Aquarium, shop on Robson Street, enjoy some of the finest restaurants, hike the leg burning Grouse Grind, ski in the morning and lie on the beach in the afternoon.
From downtown to Cypress Mountain ski area is only about a 20 minute car ride, so in Spring it is easy to get in some great runs on the slopes before things warm up too much and get slushy. Then head down to English Bay in the early afternoon to work on the rest of your tan or rent a kayak at Granville Island.
Any time of the year is a great time to see Vancouver, and yes, it does snow there in the winter ~ sometimes. If you're visiting the city during the summer, try to time it around the Celebration of Light (Requirement: MUST like fireworks and large crowds).
Take a look at WJ's Good Eats in Vancouver.
